Ever wondered what the creative PieceMaker bunch make for themselves when they have the time? It's one of the best perks of being an artists... creating an environment full of your passion! Here is a glimpse of what an artist makes for themselves... when they want to beautify their own worlds. :)
" I hadn't been doing mosaic for very long when I decided I wanted to do something different from the flat pieces I had been doing. There was a resin plaque outside in my garden, plain but interesting with raised bumps in the design. I wondered how that would look with tile on it. I used tile I had left over from other projects, something I frequently do because I can't stand to throw anything away! I ended up really liking the 3D piece and it's still hanging somewhere either inside my house or outside when the weather stays nice."
" I found this wooden teapot mirror at Hobby Lobby. It was a drab brown but I have transformed it into this whimsical, colorful, fun piece.

"These are my three favorite pieces that I've created for myself. The first one is of my children, heading to the beach for the first day of the summer season. The next is our kitchen island, which is a mosaic of our garden... with the flowers created by my kiddos. The third was the first mosaic I ever did... a sink in our bathroom. - and I've never turned back!"
